The May 8, 2018 meeting of the Central New York Car Club Association was called to order at 7:00 PM by Dennis Connor, President.

Nick (The Caveman) from Dinosaur radio talked about the Tuesday cruise at Salt City Dogs in Northern Lights.  See attached flyer.

Regarding the Nationals – There will be a builder’s block out by the horse barns.  There will be high end builders there. Stop and take a look. Also, they may need more volunteers for camping.  Contact Keith at the Right Coast if interested.

Charity names should have been to Mike Szaras by June 1st.

Sponsor has been secured for the utility vehicles.  CNY Motorsports in Cortland. There will be a couple of vehicles available for the hospitality room.

On June 27th, the Resort Lifestyle Community on Burdick Street is looking for vehicles for a cruise from 1-4.  They will provide food. More information to follow.

Bill Myers from Country Cruizers spoke about at memorial cruise for past member, Harold Featherly on Saturday, June 16th.  They will start at the parking lot on 104 by the college and will end at Rudy’s.  They will need to know how many are interested.  For more information, contact Bill Myer, cell-315-591-1897 or 315-343-8598.

The CNY Studebaker club was voted in to the Association.

SEMA news – NY one time fee has passed the senate and now goes to the assembly.

The Association encourages all car club members to join the SEMA Action Network. Membership is free, and you will be kept informed on all upcoming legislation and how it impacts our hobby.

The Treasurer’s report was read and placed on file.

The 50/50 of $32 was won by Joyce Paddock of the Buick Club & OLRAACA.
