The March 13, 2018 meeting of the Central New York Car Club Association was called to order at 7:00 PM by Dennis Connor, President.
Robbie spoke about the Nationals. They are going to try to get the chair lift going. They are still working on a celebrity. There will be more bands going until 11:00 pm. There will also be a Wall of Death, which is a motorcycle thrill ride. Update – only 38 camping spots remain. If you need a spot, contact Keith at Right Coast.
Jim Ennis spoke about the Ride For Regan fund raiser on Saturday, May 12th. They will be leaving from the southwest parking lot at Destiny. There will be a Sheriff’s escort. The ride will end at the Fairgrounds where there will be the 3rd Annual Food Truck and Craft Beer Festival. All types of vehicles are welcome, not just classics. Al Finecchiaro spoke about having boards for clubs at the Nationals. Please bring or send to the meeting, a 3” logo on fabric, a patch, or cardstock from your car club.
Mike Mastracco spoke about the Great Race in June. It will start in Buffalo, to Fairport, and then to the Classic Car Museum in Norwich. See attached flyer.
Dennis spoke to a woman from Skyler Commons, a senior home in North Utica. They are looking for cars to come on June 16th. More info to follow.
Cars & Coffee at Wegmans on John Glen starts on April 28th.

If you have not yet paid your Car Club Association dues, remember that there is a late fee of $5. See attached 2018 application.
The Association encourages all car club members to join the SEMA Action Network. Membership is free, and you will be kept informed on all upcoming legislation and how it impacts our hobby.
