The March 10, 2020 meeting of the Central New York Car Club Association was called to order at 7:05 PM by Aric Penfield, Vice President.
Donít forget to pay your CCA dues, if you have not yet already. The cost is $35.
Stacy spoke about the Onondaga Nation Arena Car Show. It will be March 22nd and will be indoors. Details and registration are available online. See attached flyer.
Dennis is still looking for list of people with cars that he can send to the TV station for interviews before the Nationals. Contact Aric if interested.
Jim Smith spoke about a bus trip on May 13th to the Pierce Arrow museum. There is room for 55 people. They will leave from Destiny at 7:00 am and be back by supper time. The cost will be $30, with an additional $10 admission to the museum. Contact Jim or Mike Mastracco.
Nationals Ė Rob OíConnor spoke about signing a new 5 year agreement with the Fairgrounds. Paul Kuza will be taking the spot of Arties Party. It will be called the Syracuse Charity Bash and will be in the Expo building. There will still be a Winfield award. They are looking for higher end cars that want to do a display (20x20 spot)-form will be on the website. The 1985 cutoff will change to a rolling 30 year look back. American cars only. There are expanding the American Muscle Cars to include all years to present. Car must remain parked in the Horticulture Building for the entire weekend. Rob is also looking for your volunteer list. If available, please send to the Right Coast. As of the meeting, there were 30 camping spaces left.
Schedules will be going to the printer by the end of the week. There will be no Phoenix show or cruises this year.

There will be a parade in East Syracuse for Memorial Day on May 25th, and they are looking for 10-15 cars/ motorcycles to be in the parade. They have 4 cars so far. Lineup will be at 10:30. If interested, call Connie Oliver at 315-481-7154.
Mike Mastracco spoke about trivia night. They had 46 people. It was a good time and there was good food.
Christine Bishop has a food truck that is available for car shows. She has permits for Onondaga, Oswego and Cayuga Counties. It is called Bishopís Bistro. To contact her, call 315-678-5104 and leave a message.

The Association encourages all car club members to join the SEMA Action Network. Membership is free, and you will be kept informed on all upcoming legislation and how it impacts our hobby.
