The August 13, 2024 meeting of the Central New York Car Club Association was called to order at 7:00 PM by Mike Mastracco, President. 

Mike has Association window stickers if anyone wants one. There will be a car show in Solvay on Saturday, September 7^th, see attached flyer. He also provided the survey results regarding what other clubs are doing. Discount cards for Advanced Auto are available at the meeting.

Jim Ennis spoke regarding the Corvette show.  They had 483 cars in attendance.

Jim Smith spoke about the Poker Run.  $1,265 was raised for charity.   He also wanted to thank the people whose cars were in the Horticulture Building at the Nationals.

Brian Badger of Galaxy Media spoke about the Syracuse Nationals.  Dates are set for next year – July 18, 19 & 20.  Camping registration starts October 21^st.  There will be registration forms available for the Syracuse Nationals at the Adirondack Nationals in September.  Also, Galaxy Media will be at SEMA again this year, and they did not yet have the final numbers for the Nationals.

The Treasurer’s report was presented by Paula Stillwell and placed on file.

The Association encourages all car club members to join the SEMA Action Network. Membership is free, and you will be kept informed on all upcoming legislation and how it impacts our hobby.  See the latest issues of Driving Force by clicking here.

The 50/50 of $45 was won by Vic Oliver of the Orphan Car Club, and he donated it back to the CCA.
